London, UK - October 22nd, 2026: Noiser brings the ultimate family adventure to life with a new serialised audiobook of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic 1883 novel, Treasure Island. Narrated by award-winning actor Rupert Grint, this timeless tale takes listeners on an unforgettable treasure hunt packed with pirates, peril and excitement. Episodes will be released weekly from December 8th.

In Noiser’s adaptation, Rupert Grint takes on the entire cast single-handedly. From the wide-eyed young Jim Hawkins to the silver-tongued Long John Silver, the rum-soaked Billy Bones, the half-mad castaway Ben Gunn and even Silver’s squawking parrot, Captain Flint, Grint gives each character a voice of their own. Paired with Noiser’s signature and award-winning sound design, listeners will practically feel the salt spray and hear the creak of the rigging as they’re taken aboard the Hispaniola.

"Noiser's serialised audiobooks now reach over 50 million listens a year, which shows how much appetite there is for great storytelling in this format. Treasure Island is where we bring the whole family in. Rupert is beloved by children and adults alike, and his performance is something truly special. Our hope is that kids fall in love with classic storytelling and grown-ups rediscover it." - Pascal Hughes, CEO Noiser.

Summary: Noiser’s Treasure Island, read by Rupert Grint

Stevenson's 1883 novel gave the world much of what we now think of as pirate lore: the treasure map marked with an X, the parrot on the shoulder squawking "Pieces of eight!” and the deserted island hiding a fortune. When a weathered old sailor arrives at a remote West Country tavern, young Jim Hawkins is swept into the adventure of a lifetime. A treasure map hidden in an old buccaneer’s sea chest takes him from the fog-laden English coast to the sun-scorched shores of a perilous island aboard the Hispaniola. But the crew harbours a dangerous secret, and Long John Silver is not all he seems. Packed with mutiny, marooned sailors and betrayal at every turn, it’s a story where trust is the most dangerous gamble of all. Treasure Island is a classic adventure story the whole family can enjoy this winter.

Treasure Island launches December 8th and is free to listen to wherever you get your podcasts, with new episodes released weekly. Noiser+ subscribers can listen two episodes ahead of general release, plus get early access to other Noiser shows, at www.noiser.com/subscriptions.
